Meet Maria:

I graduated from Wayne State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism

I received my certificate in dog training from Animal Behavior College in February 2007

In June 2007 I married Chuck on the shores of Hanalei

I started my first blog in October of 2007, but I’ve been a writer since I was 6 (I have my first stories about a tailless dog to prove it)

I got my bodan (temporary blackbelt) in Tae Kwon Do in October of 2008

I extremely level headed and flighty at the same time

I’ve taken multiple semesters in Spanish, three semesters in French and one semester in Japanese.  I know that learning languages is extremely hard and am jealous of those who can master it

I’m very intuitive

I have 3 dogs: Nani is a black lab, Liko is a rat terrier and Scooby is a boxer/shepherd mix

I’m currently learning about web development and design at my job.  I love it

I’m almost finished writing the rough draft of my first novel

I’m extremely loyal but I guard my feelings like treasure, if I open up to you I trust you more than you can imagine

I’m an only child. I never thought it was lonely until recently, something about getting older I guess
