30 before 30

30 before 30 header

In honor of the realization that yes, we are getting old, I present you my 30 things to accomplish before I’m 30. (In no particular order)

1. Finish writing my book or start and finish a new one
2. Understand and use more PHP
3. Take graphic design classes
4. Buy a cottage in Oscoda
5. Take photographs to blow up and frame
6. Visit California & San Diego Zoo February 2010, didn’t get to the zoo though
7. Visit Toronto & ride the train
8. Go to a blogger meet-up or conference
9. Take a hot air balloon ride
10. Visit Keywest
11. Take a Zumba class
12. See Times Square
13. Go white water rafting
14. Experience Isle Royale
15. Be debt free not including my student loan (not holding my breath on that)
16. Visit a foreign country not including Mexico or Canada
17. Learn Tagalog (anyone want to teach me?)
18. Run a marathon
19. Get all my favorite recipes together and make myself a cookbook Fall 2009
20. Have a girls getaway where more than just Lisa and I participate
21. Get one more tattoo
22. Visit the fish market in Seattle
23. Learn to french braid my hair Winter 2010
24. View fall colors in the UP
25. Take a cross country road trip
26. Meet up with Kat and Amy
27. Go to a hockey game in Chicago March 2009
28. Change the oil in my car (just once to say I did it)
29. Get the dogs pictures painted
30. Finish the basement

And whatever doesn’t get accomplished will be reevaluated and possibly put on the list of things to do before I’m 35.

I have a cooking blog and a Google Group called “East of the Equator Cafe.” Perhaps you need an invitation to join it?
