30 before 30 header

In honor of the realization that yes, we are getting old, I present you my 30 things to accomplish before I’m 30. (In no particular order)

1. Freelance
2. Get my pictures and music organized
3. Take  classes related to work/career – Grad Cert Program or Master’s
4. Buy a cottage in Oscoda April 2010
5. Take photographs to blow up and frame Summer 2010, they are hanging in my office
6. Visit California & San Diego Zoo February 2010, didn’t get to the zoo though
7. Visit Toronto & ride the train
8. Go to a blogger meet-up or conference Winter 2010, I’m counting my Michigan Girls!
9. Take a hot air balloon ride
10. Visit Keywest and/or Bahamas
11. Take a Zumba class
12. See Times Square
13. Go white water rafting
14. Butterfly Kick/Twist
15. Be debt free not including my student loan (not holding my breath on that)
16. Run a 5k Corktown 5K, March 2011
17. Learn Tagalog – Make Time – Chuck bought me Rosetta Stone
18. Rock Climb
19. Get all my favorite recipes together and make myself a cookbook Fall 2009
20. Have a girls getaway where more than just Lisa and I participate July 2010
21. Get one more tattoo
22. Deep Sea Fishing
23. Learn to french braid my hair Winter 2010
24. View fall colors in the UP
25. Take a cross country road trip
26. Finish my office space – I just need a new desk now
27. Go to a hockey game in Chicago March 2009
28. Change the oil in my car (just once to say I did it)
29. Build/Refinish something Winter 2011, made hanging wall art
30. Finish the basement

Things that I’ve accomplished that weren’t on the list:

  1. Joined a hockey team
  2. Traveled abroad
  3. Raising a puppy
  4. Installed a toilet
  5. Painted a painting from start to finish (blank canvas and all)

And whatever doesn’t get accomplished will be reevaluated and possibly put on the list of things to do before I’m 35.
