endlessly curious
Last Saturday, Mallory decided to celebrate her birthday by booking a private party at Painting with a Twist. I was excited to go even though I can’t paint. No seriously, I am not skilled at drawing, painting or rotating shapes. I was a little bit nervous but the neat thing about this establishment is that it’s painting with a ‘twist’ and that twist is you can bring wine or another libation to soothe the nerves.
Booking a private party has some perks such as:
Mallory picked Autumn bouquet for the painting. Wendilynn walked us through it step by step and it was amazing to see how different each of our paintings turned out. They were very unique to each of us. See for yourself.
I can’t stress enough how much fun this was and it didn’t matter whatsoever that I wasn’t a painter. I want to go back for a class. You can check out their schedule to see if there is a painting project you may be interested in. What do you have to lose? If you hate it you don’t have to hang it. But keep in mind, their number one rule is “Be kind to yourself”.
I think I can add this to my list accomplishments that isn’t on my 30 before 30 list, don’t you?
Have you been to Painting with a Twist? Would you recommend it? If you go, let me know what you think!
*I was in no way asked to write about this establishment, I was just lucky enough to be invited to join in the fun and found it a really enjoyable place.*

I put my comment in the wrong spot last time. Anyway I would like address, phone number where I can contact for a app. My grandson who lives in Tn. and his wife do Paint with a twist and love it. He is coming to visit in Feb. and I’d like for him, my daughter (his mother) and myself to be able to go to Ferndale. Is there one any closer to Flint?
