Wow it’s definitely been awhile.

Things have been pretty quiet around my part.  After the Wings lost the Stanley Cup we stopped talking about hockey for a little while.  Mostly because the thought of Sidney Crosby hoisting the cup at the Joe made me more than a little ill.

I’m mostly over it now, I think.  There is always next year, but what are the chances of the Wings being in the finals 3 years in a row?

So will Hossa stay?  I wonder how that guy feels.

In other news our $10,000 “shed” that Chuck wanted built is almost finished.  We are just waiting for them to fill the foundation with cement and the siding needs to be finished.  When it’s done I’ll be sure to post a picture.

I finally found a place for us to take the dogs.  I’m super excited for our little doggie getaway in a couple weeks.  We are going to stay in East Tawas.  It’s still up in the air if we will be able to bring the boat because while we were having maintenance on it they found a bigger problem.  A $2,500 problem. 

How awesome will it to be able to enjoy nature with the doggies?!  I can’t wait!

So we don’t have any plans for the 4th yet.  I know Chuck wants to work on his Nissan.  Anything good we should know about?
