endlessly curious
The purpose of this blog is to have some of my professional writing out there. But I’m finding it hard to keep the content fresh and up to date. I have my personal blog where I let off steam, get things off my chest and pretty much act inappropriate. But as social networking explodes I often wonder to myself, do I have two sides or am I just faking?
Of course my other blog is filled with language I wouldn’t technically use around my boss, though our office is pretty laid back, so I don’t have to filter too much. And that is what I enjoy most about my job. The fact that we are casual. It’s not corporate America here, far from it. Hell, business casual barely applies. Maybe because our boss meets with the higher ups so most of the time he can be considered business casual.
While I’m still trying to ‘find my place’ I do know that working in a conservative office is not what I want. I’ve been there, done that and I didn’t enjoy it. I like being able to come to work in jeans and a t-shirt and get my work done.
I struggle with my professional side, which is why this blog is lagging. I’m not sure what voice I want to use here. I know I want it to be grammatically correct, more so than my personal blog, but I don’t want it to be dry and boring. You know it’s bad when even I don’t even want to read what I post here. I guess it’s a line I’m going to have to define. So hopefully anyone that reads this will stick with me. I promise to figure it out soon.

And in Maria World I am leaving for Chicago on Saturday. We are taking the Amtrak train and I’m excited. I found a GREAT deal on a hotel. So when I come back, expect pictures!
